Tips For Choosing a New Betting Site

With many betting sites out there, it can be tough to nail down the best place to play. That is why we have put together this guide. We want to help you to find the best betting website to play on.

What things do you want to bet on?

This will be a major consideration regarding the betting site you select. Obviously, most betting websites out there will cover sports, but you may want something different from time to time. It will really help to ‘spice’ things up a little. How about betting on the amount of snow that will fall at Christmas, on professional wrestling, or even the winner of a reality TV show? They may not sound like the craziest bets in the world, but they are fun to engage in from time to time!

If you are a sports lover, you will probably want to check the type of bets you can carry out on the website. You don’t win that much money by betting on who will win or lose a game. Real money is the more ‘unique’ bets. For example, if you were betting on a football game, this may include looking to correctly predict the number of cards in the game, the number of corners, or even the number of goals. In some cases, you can bet when the goals will be scored.

In recent years, ‘bet in-play’ is also something you will probably be interested in at online sports books.. In the past, all betting was done before the game. If things changed in the game, then you were stuck. You would not be able to place a bet. Nowadays, you can bet any time up until the final whistle. There may be small exceptions throughout the game, e.g. if there is a sending-off or a goal, betting will be suspended for a short while, but for the most part, you can bet whenever you like.

In addition, some websites now offer you to ‘cash out’ on your bet through math. For example, if you have bet for somebody to win and they are currently winning, you can choose to claim on your bet for smaller odds. You get the money, but you do not have to worry about the other team scoring and costing you your bet. It is a great system.

Betting Bonuses

When searching for new betting sites, you will probably want to pay attention to the bonuses the website offers. There are plenty of pages on this website which go into depth, and we urge you to read them. However, for those who just want a quick ‘rundown’, you can think of betting bonuses as free cash/bets. Some newer betting sites also offer a plethora of casino options. Many bettors like to play a spin online UK online slots. In contrast, some prefer to play casino games like Roulette and blackjack - the point is, if the gambling site doesn't have these options, you are going to be restrictive, which is why we recommend checking out betting sites which double up as casinos too!

They are an encouragement to get you to sign up to the website. Take advantage of them. Of course, we will keep you updated with the world of betting bonuses to ensure you can score the best possible deals.

Odds Explained

This is incredibly important when it comes to online sports betting websites. You want to know that you will get decent odds on the bets you regularly make. While there is not that much difference between websites nowadays, at least for the more ‘common’ bets, you may find that some of the more complicated bets e.g. if you were betting on Brighton v Newcastle: Glen Murray to score first and Brighton to win 2-0

The odds will change drastically from online gambling website to website. Make sure that you compare them. It is also worth noting that just because a website offers brilliant odds now does not necessarily mean it will offer good odds later. Most people out there may flick between two different websites (three at the most) to ensure they are always getting the best deal.

Reviews

Finally, make sure you read through reviews on betting websites. Make sure you are reading them on a trusted site too! Our team here has been in the casino business for an incredibly long time. This means that we know what to look for in a quality betting website. We urge you to take a peek through our sportsbook reviews. We cover absolutely everything that you need to know about a casino.

This Summers Sports Predictions: Betting Tips for Major Events inclucing The World Cup & Wimbledon

There are a lot of major sporting events coming up, so we have a lot of different things to cover on this page! Some of it (well, all of it!) is quite exciting too. Should we dive in? That way, when you log into your preferred online casino, betting site or one of the many new gambling sites we recommend, you have all the knowledge to help you make the right choices!

World Cup

The World Cup is quite exciting this year. Other than Brazil, all of the favourites have been knocked out of the cup. This means that England actually has a chance. There is a chance! Could this be the year that football finally comes home?

At the time of writing, it is about eight hours away from England’s second-round kick-off against Colombia. If they win (which we anticipate will), they will face either Sweden or Switzerland in the quarters. This means they have a possible chance of getting through to the semis, and the competition there won’t be that high either. There is a real chance that Southgate’s team could take the cup at the end…if they don’t fluff it all.

Realistically, we reckon Brazil will be walking away with the cup. With Germany and Spain out, very little stands in their way now. Maybe France, but even then…Nah. Brazil all the way (or England, if we are going to be patriotic)

Wimbledon

Love to bet on Wimbledon? Andy Murray has pulled out of Wimbledon this year. This means we have no quality Brit to get behind. We suppose you could root for Tim Henman like decades gone by, but since he is probably a bit too old to compete at the tournament, it would be a pretty unsafe bet!

For Wimbledon, we actually reckon that Djokovic has a chance. He did lose at Queen’s in the final, but it looks like some of his form issues had finally been cast to one side, and he is performing well. As long as confidence does not get the better after that loss, then we reckon the tournament is in the bag for him. It looks like he has a decent couple of matches coming up at Wimbledon too, during the early stages, which means that he will be able to get some confidence under him, which could do well for the later stages of the tournament.

If you want a good outside bet, then Nick Kyrgios has everything you need in a player. Honestly, he could probably win the tournament with the raw skill, but he is just awful when it comes to mentality. He has off days, and there is a chance he won’t be able to maintain a positive mentality throughout the match. Good bet, but risky.

WWE Extreme Rules PPV

Ever since the leaker for the winners of matches at PPVs for the WWE was fired, it has become increasingly difficult to predict who will win what. This is fantastic for you because it means you get better odds. Of course, in the past, because the names of the predetermined winners were leaked in advance, you were not going to make anything at all if you bet. That is no longer the case. The next upcoming event is WWE Extreme Rules, which is shaping to be quite a stunner.

With the AJ Styles and Rusev matchup, you can expect AJ Styles to walk away from the winner. While Rusev is loved by the crowd, we think that WWE wants to keep the belt on Styles for a little bit longer. He is already one of the longest-reigning champions in the game.

Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins will go head to head in a ‘no holds barred’ thirty-minute epic match. Who is going to win? Stick your money on Seth Rollins for this one.

In the Women’s Championship, it is Carmella and Asuka. We can’t look beyond Asuka for this one. It would completely ruin her character otherwise.

John Deere Classic Predictions

We are going to wrap up this page with a golf event. Sure, the John Deere Classic is probably not the biggest event on the PGA calendar, but it will surely provide some interesting watching.

Despite the kick-off being a few days away, we still do not have a complete list of players. Still, we do think last year’s winner (Bryson DeChambeau) is in with a shout if he ends up competing in the event, and this should be a pretty decent bet for anybody.
